  1. We touched on this in our talk in general terms. I think you already know how I feel about it but, for those who didn’t listen to that podcast, I vote for candidates that are mostly in line with my views, often voting for a lesser known third party. For nonpartisan positions, I vote for who I think is best suited to the role. I try not to vote against someone, rather choosing to vote for someone I think is the best choice within that field of candidates. I don’t care when people tell me I’m throwing away my vote when voting fir a third party. That’s the beauty of what we call the right to vote. *I* get to choose for myself.

  2. I’m generally liberal as you know but I’m not gonna stay with any party because it’s the party. I was registered as non-partisan until I had to register Dem to vote in primary.

I voted for Gore against “W”. Not because I loved Gore so much but because I knew W would restart the war. If 9/11 hadn’t happened he would have found another excuse to finish his daddy’s war.

The presidential election is important, but so are the senators and house. Having a Dem president doesnt mean everything goes Dem if the Senate and/or house is Rep.

I’ve never understood people who blindly follow a party because they always have. I’ve voted for Rep for different offices if I thought they were better.

Ugh! I wish I could shake people and say “”WAKE UP!” Open your eyes, use your brain, think! Think about what matters to you personally and vote for the candidate that shares your ideas/values.

That’s what I don’t grasp. Do people have principles anymore? I can understand that people have different agendas, but golly, this is how nations collapse, rapidly.

      1. People are angry that they didnt get their “American Dream” handed to them in a bix with a bow. They want someone to blame. The media and government says “you didnt get you box because xyz took it” .

You keep talking about the patriot act. Make people afraid, give them someone to blame…they shut their brains off and blindly follow…to be “safe”. And they’re “patriots” for blindly following.

Exactly Granny, that was my heartburn with Kavanaugh. And somehow, less than 18 years later and people dun forgot about the Patriot Act, now their frustrations lie with google and Facebook and congress just plays along.

          1. Big Brother says the enemy is Iran, now its Iraq, now its Iran again… keep misdirecting with fear, change the name of the “bad guy”, laugh at all the money you’re raking in over drinks on your yacht.

It’s all extremely frustrating! I’m afraid it’s going to get worse before it gets better. If it EVER gets better. Humans, as a species, can be more stubborn and stiff necked than mules.

  3. When did politicians stop listening to their constituents? Oh yeah since this country was created, good grief, Chinese are fighting for a pro democratic government and were dealing with keeping from going in reverse, what the literal hell? Ugh, so infuriating. 😡

Welcome to the exercise in futile insanity. In this corner, a spoiled brat that when triggered smashes their Xbox.

In the opposing corner, a child that has been beaten mercilessly by their parents, gasps for air.

Funny how easily we forget what is truly valuable.

Lol, they are a bunch of butt sniffers. Nothing Huntress, the lessons are not for them, the lessons are for us. The only way we learn is through experience and pain.

  4. Gonna have to agree to disagree with the memes – although I do believe Epstein was murdered (just not by Mossad). Too many holes in the official story. Bernie’s stunt is laughable – both Carter & Hillary promised similar things. Great podcast. Mostly agree with you.
(”Annoying little brother”, indeed 🙂 .)

Ah, I didn’t see that part. So, he is now saying that he won’t back universal background checks, but he is still in support of red flag laws and mental health gun control. We ain’t outta the woods yet JM, but it is push in the right direction.

              1. I’m not entirely certain whether or not he believes; I’ve gained different impressions of him (belief-wise) over the years. I meant influence him to do right, whether or not he believes or cares.

I gotcha JM. I guess what I was trying to say was is that I view trump as a man who desires power and influence, rather than a simple and humble man of God.

Then again, who am I to cast doubts about trump’s beliefs?

That’s what I’ve heard, “Only God knows the true heart of every man, woman and child”.
