There is no right or wrong in life, only winners and losers.

I hear ya Jeanne. I think the secret is to find or to be content. Then, it doesn’t matter whether a person is a winner or a loser, as long as they are content.

Maybe suggest to him that if he doesn’t change his horrible ways, you’ll take him back to the hospital and exchange him for a good kid. Show him the receipt!

God’s Word says those who are His children are always a winner, if He leads. The world judges the winner/loser by outward things, God judges the Spiritual Heart.:))

I was more or less talking about how we tend the view the world. When things don’t go our way, we often blame others. We all sin from time to time, yet it’s always easier to point out the sin of others, while we justify our sin.

Be happy with what you have, learn to be content and grateful. Or else, you’re either a winner or a loser. Compete with yourself and don’t bother with what others are doing. We all have a life to live.

  2. Just finished one of your podcasts. Sometimes when I’m running I will finish the run before the podcast, then next time I run it will start up again. I think know what you were getting at with your point about asking for idea to buy pot and guns. Tracking us and using it against us later . Found a good study on NIH you might find interesting. Says that mental illness does not predict gun violence , except sometimes in those with a persecution complex. Hmm… I’ll get the link if you want it .

Thanks PK, what episode did you listen to? I meant to do a podcast last Friday addressing trump and gun control, but a last minute thing came up, so we had to postpone until this Friday.

My main point is that the more we look to the government for protection and salvation the further we volunteer to move from actually taking care of ourselves. The more we allow the government to dictate what we are and what we are not allowed to do, the less free and less truly safe we become. I would rather have my bumpstock and whatever armament I decide I need, rather than a wall that may or may not protect us.

You cannot reason with that which you cannot understand or communicate with. Some people are psychos and we only ever find out, after the fact. It’s how it has always been and how it will always be. These people that we attempt to identify, are unidentifiable, that is why it is of paramount importance to remind people the only true protection you have is yourself. If you cannot trust yourself, then no one should trust you.

Background checks were instituted by Reagan with the 1986 Firearm Owners Protection Act. Reagan was a huge supporter of the Brady Bill. No piece of legislation or gun control measure has managed to stop murder or injury, ever. Laws are for the law abiding. Laws cannot stop criminals.

The war on drugs, poverty, education, etc has for the last half decade proved to be nothing but an utter and total waste of time, resources and money.

PK, I am not trying to be disrespectful in any manner.

You have a teenaged daughter that has a disability. How would you feel if the state stepped in and one by one stripped her of her civil rights, based on her medically diagnosed disability? That’s what Red Flag Laws do, arbitrarily the state picks and chooses who is considered a full fledged citizen and who is able to exercise their rights, granted by the constitution. A person doesn’t have to break any law or hurt anyone, simply, a person must prove their innocence and sanity. Instead of innocent before guilty, it is flipped.

      1. I’m just seeing your comments . I do agree that red flag laws will lead to loss of freedom. And there are already ways that the government attempts to control parents of all types of children. That’s why they want to heavily regulate or eliminate homeschooling. The real danger is doctors. They are being required to ask probing questions and record your answers and report them . Let me get that link.
