What would you trade for freedom? Would you trade your home, your family, your insurance policy? It’s Memorial Day, 2019 and I wonder, if many have forgotten what freedom costs.
Our freedom comes from God, yet it is incumbent upon all of us to preserve it. Once we become short sighted or obsessed with dominating the other side, we forsake our own future. The pendulum always swings and the farther it travels to one side, eventually it will swing even hard to the “opposing” side.
Only 18 months remain until the 2020 election. I will not be voting for President Trump. My reason is simple, Fix NICS, Bump-Stock Ban, Federal and State Red Flag Laws pending. I will not support anyone who wants to trade jobs for the future freedom of our nation. I will not vote for a person who so easily pens and signs executive orders. This may seem minor to some and easily overlooked.
Job numbers, taxes and polls mean nothing without freedom.
What are you willing to make a stand for?
A vote for or against is still a vote. What are you willing to swallow for a win?
I realize that Trump is not alone and he is not a king. But if I can’t hold to my values and I cannot hold the person whom I voted for accountable, then what’s the point? I may as well simply ask for more porridge and kiss the ring.
