When You Open Your Eyes and Open Your Heart, You See Your True Intentions in Others

We are simple and we are the same. Evil is evil. Malice knows no color, creed or sex.

  1. I know someone who always suspects the worst kind of plots and conspiracies from others. (I don’t think it warrants a mental health disorder label, though.) I remind them that it might be because of the way THEY manipulate others. They refuse to acknowledge it. I can only hope that they refuse to admit it in front of me, but think about it themselves. Though i have a feeling that is not true.

And then there’s me, who expects disappointment from people. And most often then not, they don’t disappoint in that department (ha!).

It is my opinion, that often times we justify our actions based on the projection and speculation of others that we deem evil or unjust using minimal criteria and past experiences. Sometimes, decisions are made prior to anything taking place, with the mindset of protection. We justify the preservation of ourselves over the humanity of others. Ultimately, creating enemies in our wake, regardless of our said goal.

The more we preemptively strike, the longer we remain in the quagmire.

After all, “it’s always someone else’s fault”, right?

      1. I see what you’re saying, and I agree with the premise. However, when push comes to shove, I still see evil in others without seeing it in me. It’s not to say that I think I’m perfect and an angel. I say this because of experience, as well because I seem to be able to read people quite easily. I try not to strike preemptively, though. I’d rather just shield myself. It’s funny to see their surprised faces when they go to attack and it gets blocked.

No, not always. But a lot of the time.

Totally Goldie, it’s not a one size fits all. At the same time, it takes two. If you take the high road every time, eventually you will no longer be able feel when you shit your pants, since you got fucked in the ass every time.

      1. Hey, I never got notified of your reply in the bell notifications. Just saw it. Just need a break from comments on my blogs for a while.

    1. P.S. – in the story, you, me, and Racquel are going to go on a ship traveling to another planet (very soon, actually) and when we’re getting our passports in the story, I was wondering if you would mind if I gave you a full name, instead of simply calling you ‘Bond’? It would only be a off-the-cuff remark mentioning a first name for you (It won’t be your REAL first name as I don’t know it, but I was wondering if you would mind if I made one up for you for the story? It would only be mentioned once, when we’re getting the passports, and the person serving us, happens to call you (once) ‘Mr. ____ Bond’. IF you approve, that is. Do you mind if I make one up? Or would you rather I don’t have something like that?
