      1. I actually took the time to listen to the whole podcast and enjoyed it. But, I have to agree with Rakkelle, it was too long. My attention span is short. Even when I read, I enjoy short and to the point articles or I rarely finish reading them. If you cut back 30 min, I think you will get more listeners. You’re on the right track, though. Don’t give up, just keep trying different things till you find what really works for you and your listeners.

              1. I enjoyed listening to you and Racquel. Rest assured that you are not boring. Boring people have no passipn, no purpose, no soul. You have so much you can’t contain it all!

  1. I love that Racqs turned the tables on you!!

I also love that Racqs made you uncomfy by trying to make you name a physical positive about yourself!

BC: You say you can’t split your time between working a job and going to school, but you’re already splitting your time between work and blogging/podcasting. Perhaps you should consider going back to school, but not for a degree…just take one course at a time in areas that really interest you. While I somewhat understand wanting a degree as an example to your girls, you can be a chronic learner, not get a degree and still be a great example to them.

FYI: Following the initial 90 day review, annual reviews are common in the corporate world.

Shooting steel targets is SUPER fun…especially with a suppressor!

    Still listening and thoroughly enjoying!

Wow, Heather you listen to everything I’ve done so far. Thank you for your support.

You’re right, I just need to figure out what I’m interested in!!!

  2. Shaken, not stirred is a famous line uttered by James Bond (007).

Thank you for the shout outs (two)!! 💕 The “Classy and Flashy Killer”? LOL

BC: As you know, I’ve listened to several of the podcasts between you and Steve – I really enjoy those.

    Great job, you two!!!

      1. I don’t know. My new gig started yesterday and it wiped me out. I expect the same for the next couple of weeks – learning all new processes/procedures and tons of people-ing is mentally and physically taxing on me.

I hear ya girl. Good for you though, get it while it’s good. I’ll still be around for whenever you’re ready.

      1. Ha ha. Swans are the wrong colour, rivers flow the wrong way, everyone drives on the wrong side of the road, misspells several words ending with ”or” (becoming ”our”), and abbreviates everything (”good day”becomes “g’day”etc). That’s us Aussies.
(Except, we view it the other way round 🙂 )

  3. Woooh – switcheroo – great idea!

I have listed to one hour, but now I have to go to work.
Rakkelle was sooooo nice! Listen to Rakkelle Coffee – she seems like a very wise woman and has a heart of gold!

  4. I got 25min. in and fell asleep. Of course, I started listening at 2am. *sigh* Life with a retired cop that loved 3rd shift. This is my life.

I will try, again. Thanks for the shout-out. ‘Ride or Die’? LOL! I used to ride motorcycles in another life, more a passenger than a driver.

So, me, Britchy & Rakkelle is off?

  5. I listened to this in 3 takes. Woot!

I hate the “tell us something about you” thing, too.

I think PINK is your favorite color. You’re just too secretive about it.

Raquel, I think the “What are you complemented on the most?” is a phenomenal question.

“Email composition” Coffee, you cracked me up. Hilarious.

“I just could be doing more” – I nod my head in agreement.

You are so right about people trying to lose weight. And I think the wrong “why” can be their downfall. Completely agreed.

It’s interesting that I have the opposite experience – employers don’t seem to care about degrees.

Raquel, are you sure Coffee is not your ex? With the laundry and the fishing?

I do disagree with Raquel in regards to not commenting if you have nothing nice to say. It’s not about letting things slide. For me, it’s about stirring things, making people stop and think. But I do understand that what works for me doesn’t always work for others.

    An interesting explanation behind “TidePodcast”.

    DIRTY HALF DOZEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

I’m telling you – do a long interview, but chop it into parts.

This was an AMAZING interview. Coffee, you remind me a lot about myself. Raquel, you did a fantastic job!

Wow Goldie, thank you so very much. I’m happy that you were entertained.

Yeah, I’m not always the best at asking questions or making my counter palatable. It’s not like I want to offend people or turn people off, these are simply the words that I have. I am still learning though!!!!

    2. Hey Goldie…I get it about “stirring” things up but in my line of work where I stir things up daily I come here for some light, humourous fun. I seriously can’t do much more acrimony. I get your point though and totally agree that “what works” for one person doesn’t necessarily work for another. Variety is the spice of life.

Thank you so much for listening, but bless your heart for your undeniable patience – you listened in 3 takes. So much luv to you for that. 💜

  6. Yeah, Goldie, once it gets going I want to hear it all. I am delighted you found mine entertaining. 😃 And regarding 007 and my Ex “being the same person” well, now you know why I’m divorced. 😂😂

  7. Social Media – perfect place LOL. Overalls – hahaha! I really like your voice Racquel.
Like a Nazi? You’ve got to be kidding!
Things written can come across the wrong way and not how the person writing it intended. It is easily misunderstood.
Agreed Racquel, 007 has a great voice. Perfect for podcasts.
You wake up early in the morning to do it? Are you sure you are not biting off more than you can chew by doing it at that time?

    1. bottomlesscoffee007

Maybe I am Rue, but I really do love it. I enjoy connecting with all of you Bloggers from around the globe. All of you write already and are so interesting to talk with.

Not a single interview has been boring or even work, if I’m being honest.

Who knows, maybe one day, I can do this all day.

  8. Listening to more:
Racquel, seriously! Please don’t be offended, but why do we need to know about 007? If he doesn’t wanna’ tell us about himself (and he doesn’t have to), then just leave him be!
I think I would fit under the title of ‘fan’ of 007.
    Interesting stuff about you, 007.
Don’t bother trying to lose weight – I found that whenever I tried to lose weight, I would gain weight. So I thought “screw this” and stopped and now that I’m not trying to lose weight, my body finally drops the pounds. So don’t try to lose weight, and you will lose it.
Walking is definitely the best exercise.
Still like girl attention? hahahaha!!! Oh, man.
I think we’re all hard on ourselves. We all want to be more than we are.
Write a chapter? What, for a story?
Racquel, writing a chapter is different to writing the stuff that 007 writes ever day. I find writing factual stuff is hard while conceptualizing a story and writing it all down, etc., is easy in comparison.
