The Numbers Don’t Lie…

Where did those specific numbers come from? While we are all out here “quoting” numbers, statistics and facts, do we really even know what we are talking about?

Facts are facts?

The numbers don’t lie?

Statistical data?

If you don’t know, it’s ok to say that you don’t know. Just please stop spending my money and trying to tell me how to live!

Really all that matters is memorization and the ability to regurgitate.

Knowledge and understanding never apply and are not sought out.

  1. I am with you. I could care less how people choose to live heir lives, as long as it doesn’t hurt anyone in the process. But I am NOT going to pay for their decisions. That is completely on them, not the American taxpayer.

No, just providing proof why I don’t buy into “facts” “statistics” and other stuff.

I usually don’t write about my own experiences, just my thoughts.

The other day I wrote about censorship and blocking. Some other bloggers thought I was censored or blocked. I wasn’t, I was just trying to open peoples eyes and minds to what it means to express yourself in public.

              1. LOL! (Interesting side-note: as long as the woman isn’t married, and it isn’t just a one night stand, and the pastor isn’t intending to leave his wife for her, and she’s a believer, his affair with her isn’t actually unbiblical. There’s plenty of provision for – and no commands against – polygyny AND concubines/mistresses in the Bible. 🙂 )

                    1. Yep. Incredible the number of “Christian/Biblical” traditions (often taboos) that aren’t found anywhere in Scripture. Where is cousin marriage forbidden? Where are we commanded to attend church every Sunday?
                      (Those are just some!)

                    2. True. Although that has negative health effects that consuming a glass of win doesn’t. However, there’s no commandment about that; it’s entirely up to the individual. Same for drugs.

A tyrant or a crown or even a nation will say you can do this and you cannot do that.

Only the Lord can actually free and that is why rulers will forever fear the Lord.

They know that believers will devote their life to God and not them.

God is the only true power. Their power is limited.
