What is Different Today Compared to Yesterday?

Sometimes I wonder…perhaps perception leads to devastation? Our pride leads to hubris and we begin to fool ourselves into believing we actually can control…anything. It is my belief that people are people, no matter where, no matter when…

With that being said, what is truly different today compared to yesterday? Perhaps the world and mankind is what it has always been. Remember when, is the predecessor of pending devastation. Perhaps, then again, maybe not…

I wonder if the devastation has always been within arms reach. All we must believe, is that we can avoid devastation, if we can control the devastation first.

With that being said, it is a race and if we don’t pick up the “ball” and “run” with it…someone else will and…well, anything is possible…anything.

Maybe, maybe not…time reveals everything, all we must do is wait.

How much time do we have?

How much time do we allow ourselves could be relative to how much time we allow others…

Who really knows?

Perhaps nothing has ever changed, we just wake up and remember foggy memories from the past? I don’t know Dorothy. Just a thought.

Progress is only progress to those who want progress. What about the others who do not want the progress? What happens to them?

  1. 41 years, give or take a few weeks.
Keep your friends close, and you enemies,
even closer ( perhaps that’s what Donald
Trump had in mind regarding Putin?).
We have in our hands now, all the know-how
to solve all mankind’s man-made problems.
The only thing missing is the will to do it.
The first step requires a big dose of good will.

Maybe just let it go. Be selfish and think of myself only, instead of always thinking, and trying to control others.

I think that’s the problem. We want everyone to do what we want.

      1. I see what you mean. I was with some acquaintances a few days ago, one of them appeared to be sensitive to the conspiracy theories, that’s fine by me. But he was trying to make us understand that we should make our research, that we are being lied to, he was convinced of having the truth and wanted us all to be enlightened as well. I told him that’s how wars start, when one person thinks everybody should believe one way and not the other.

      1. Not really. But, truly, the only thing we can control is ourselves. How we react, how we deal… Throughout history, control has been the name of the game. It may last for a while but, ultimately crumbles. I’m a big proponent of ‘mind your own damn business’. My Libertarian leanings say the smallest gubment with the least intervention is best. Gubment has grown into the gi-normous leviathan that it is because someone, somewhere thought they were smarter than everyone else and wanted to show them that with chains & power.

As long as one person walks around thinking they are smarter than anyone else, you will have problems. Ego is a beast that should be kept on a leash. Even the great Einstein had trouble with the front gate to his house & was in bad need of a hairdresser (he cut his own hair). ‘Smarts’ is relative.

Exactly Victoria, like I said. It is a race and someone is always trying to pick up the ball and run with it!

Exactly Rue, thats what Im saying. Perhaps we should just surrender to God. Realize that only he has control over everything.
