Are Trolls People as Well? & There is No Such Thing as Bad Publicity!!!

Bottomlesscoffee007 is a place for free expression and speech. Since I launched last year, not a single comment has been censored and not a single person has been blocked. I have been cited by two fellow bloggers so far. Both disagree with me wholeheartedly and both have slandered me as well. However, unbeknownst to them, I have been slandered and made fun of my entire life. None of this bothers me in the slightest. Rather, I get a chuckle out of the imaginative ways they “talk shit” if you will.

In any regard, they have presented my blog to their audiences, making reference to my “obvious lack of intelligence”. This is a win!!!! Because now my material is being viewed by even more, they can make up their own minds and have their own opinions about what I write. There is no such thing as bad publicity. Simply present your stance or opinion and allow everyone to decide for themselves. Circulation folks….I couldn’t pay for this type of circulation.

Trolls are people as well, from what I have experienced thus far is the more you engage with them, the better the chances they will eventually start to actually converse with you. Otherwise, they usually run out of steam quickly, realizing that I can go on and on and on…..

Don’t be afraid to get out there and get after it. I hope you will experience this as well.

This actually just happened. It seems that censorship is a big part of these peoples lives!!!! LOL

  1. I knew why I vibe with you homie! We are on the same page when it comes to these “folks”. Sharing started out as was cool and then became a trend, oversharing had to beat that, and now being mean is the new howdy? Why is everyone so mean? Internet courage, I guess? People are so set on disagreement that they are intent on bringing you down, when all they have to do is not follow you or like you said in your case it’s great publicity🤣

I wrote about trolls to a little while ago:https://wp.me/p8hy2s-9r

  2. OMG!!!!! I don’t agree with half the things you say and I would never block you. In fact I look forward to your posts and miss you when an entire day goes by and you don’t pop up in my inbox.

Damn! It’s not that serious. Iron sharpens iron 😉.

Actually, I was home alone with my kids, so I was swamped!!! Waffels for breakfast and “help” with laundry and cleaning!!!

  3. So funny, I just wrote about a similar experience myself. I don’t know if I was trolled as such but someone called me a ‘sociopath’. Ok, I guess that’s trolling! I just found it bizarre more than anything. Still, I like your take on this!

Thanks Marcello. I’m just trying to have conversations. I don’t know why some get so worked up over words on a screen?

      1. I’m the same, my friend. The internet has given us this great opportunity to connect with people all around the world – and some just waste it getting angry over pointless crap. Just crazy.

Honestly Christy. I have no ill will towards them. I know people say “don’t feed the trolls”, but they need to be fed!!!

I will continue to be who I am and reach out. I can take the slander. Maybe one of them will eventually take a chance on me as well.

Who knows, in the meantime, there is really nothing to lose.

      1. True. And what’s the worst that can happen anyway? They try to hurt our feelings and we brush it off anyways. At the end of the day words are just words and trolls can’t hurt if we don’t let them.

  4. Interesting perspective. At least something positive happened through it – you’re getting attention. Thankfully, I have never had any trolls on either of my sites.

  5. Go you! Earning your first blogging wins. I’ve been considered a troll in the past, so I have to say that some are better than the average folk. But I’ve also been in your shoes. I laugh it off, ’cause like you – I’m used to that.

  6. LOL! (The threat to delete your comment – and your thanking them for the circulation)
My decision not to censor comments on my blog (although I can tell you it’s occasionally tempting) was largely influenced by you.

Oh wow JM, I had no idea. I just figure, if I’m trying to reach out, censorship and blocking kinda defeats that very purpose.
