Do You Think People Need Help When it Comes to Writing?

I recently placed an ad aimed at helping people with writing. I don’t plan on making money right away, but I think there are people out there that when it comes to putting pen to paper, they may have difficulty. I am currently offering my services for free. This costs me nothing, and I want to see if there is a need before I attempt to capitalize on my “skill”.

These are some of services I am offering:

Email Correspondence
– Essays
– Reports
– Evaluations
– Resumes
– Cover Letters
– Reviews
– Advertising
– General Correspondence
– Letter Writing
– Writing in General

I don’t have a degree, but I think I’m halfway decent when it comes to writing. So far, I have received zero requests. I plan on keeping the ad though.

What are your thoughts on this?

Do you think there is a need for writers when it comes to the general public?

Ha, I just keep on walking into it, Victoria. Thanks for the comment. I guess my hubris might be getting the better of me.

Good for you JM. So far no requests, but that’s the way it goes sometimes. Maybe I’ll be able to help someone out someday.

          1. Thanks! If you’re interested, here’s my FanFic profile:

I’ve done (or I should say, am doing) 3 stories (as you would see on the profile): “Moses” (Bible), “2020: An Experimental Story” (Thunderbirds) and “Indiana Jones and the Quest for Truth” (Indiana Jones – obviously).
With the exception of “Moses”, I incorporate conspiracy theories/elements (in the Indy one, a lot of real ones). (I incorporate little-known information – including slightly hinting at “The Forgotten Jews” material – in “Moses”.)
            Hope you like ’em.
