The BREXIT Debacle and Example

The United Kingdom is not a free nation based on the people regulating the government. Instead, the government and the elites and especially other nations dictate what the U.K. is allowed or not allowed to do. The BREXIT vote took place on 23 June 2016. More than two years later, they still remain in the European Union.

The vote on 23 June 2016 wasn’t accepted by their rulers. The people have no voice and no vote in either the European Union or the U.K.

Is this what many claim to be the pinnacle of socialism? That you no longer have a say? That your vote doesn’t count? Just another example to look to, to see where we could end up. The will of the people is not taken into consideration when there is money to be made and influence to be wielded.

      1. I remember looking up when and how the UK would leave a few months after the vote. If I read correctly, once the official notice of the beginning of negotiations and withdrawal is given (which it was in March 2017), only an act of Parliament can stop it. It’s pretty much automatic, I believe.
