Safe Spaces are Phenomenal and Desperately Needed

Safe spaces are wonderful. They are desperately needed in our society today. Safe spaces freely allow those who choose to use them the opportunity to step aside and allow the rest of us to get to work. The safe space community freely volunteers those who participate to hide and play pretend from the real world. Meanwhile, that leaves more money, opportunity and jobs for the rest of us to scoop up. I think that safe spaces will encourage more innovation and production than forcing these people to work.

Sanctuary cities are in the same category as well. If these people that come to America don’t want to do it legally or refuse to integrate, that only allows more freedom of maneuver for the rest of us. All of these people that want the American Dream, will never succeed since they cannot leave their sanctuaries. If they venture out of their safe space or sanctuary, they might have to actually engage with “the working class”.

If you don’t want to learn english, perfect, that only means that you’re opportunities just got that much smaller. If you don’t want to get dirty, awesome, hope you like mooching. If you cannot put your own feelings aside and act professional, wonderful, I can and will. I will do whatever it takes to provide for my family. I’ll be a ditch digger, I’ll clean toilets, I’ll pick fruits and vegetables, I’ll sell all of my belongings to protect and provide for mine.

Please, if you feel threatened, scared or oppressed, use your safe space and your sanctuary place. The less of you out there, actually getting after it, only means that there is less competition for me. If only all of the schools were private, then I wouldn’t have to subsidize others lunches. My kids would get a better education. My families future would be that much brighter and better. So, go ahead and call me names, it’s getting harder and harder to hear you from the edge of my “No Trespassing” sign.

Safe spaces and sanctuaries, encourage them and promote their use. All you have to do is ring the bell and all of this will stop. It’s warm and dry in your safe space and sanctuary, you don’t have to deal with the madness out here. Ring the bell, there is hot food waiting for you. The pain and anguish will immediately stop.

  1. I don’t know about that. From my experience, your view is rather ideal, but not a reality. From experience, recruiters go to safe spaces to look for employees. They create safe spaces in the workplace, etc. From where I’m standing, they seem to be getting catered to, while the rest of us is left forgotten. Hopefully that will change in the long run.

I may be idealistic, but I think this will run its course. Any business that is not in the business of making money will peter out. If these businesses actually care about the bottom line, they will find ways to exploit the safe spaces and those who inhabit them. I know it may seem like this is the way of the future, but in reality government assistance and safe spaces are less than 100 years old. It’s just a fad that rich people can play around with. Eventually it always comes full circle. Perhaps I am wrong (I might actually be)! But this is what I think will happen over time. The more you work, the more you get used to work, the same is true of being lazy.

      1. I hope you’re right. However, I am more skeptical, and think it will take much longer to “run its course”. (Let me be wrong on this one.) Businesses seem to be VERY afraid of negative publicity, and that is something those snowflakes are good at – protesting and writing negative comments on Twitter. And it all just goes downhill from there. The problem is that people are trying to cater to them, instead of straighten them out. By doing so, they just create more future problems for themselves. But they seem to be lacking foresight.

They also create open spaces in the market for innovation. The more of these companies that participate in this, only create their own downfall. Look at Facebook and other digital platforms, more and more are cutting cable. All of this only shows how desperate the population has actually become. I know it may seem far fetched to think that google will one day fail. But they are willfully turning away business. With this gap in the market, it only makes sense that someone else will come along to fill it. Someone else who is willing to do the work. Someone else who is willing to put up with the nonsense.

Look at the booming industries of pornography and marijuana. There was a niche, there was a desire. I’m not strictly pointing out vices that others have capitalized on, but I think that these two are perfect to show how it was or is frowned upon, yet people want it.
